Let’s begin with CycloDS

CycloDS range of cards may be known as multiple names like CycloDS Evolution, CycloDS Revolution, all offer the same functionality for the Nintendo DS & Nintendo DS Lite. Released by Team Cyclops CycloDS iEvolution is the first released Flash Kit offering support for the enhanced DSi-Mode. This mode is unique in the sense that it offers ability to run ROMs and Homebrew at 2x the CPU speed of DS-Mode due to its ability to access 16MB of RAM. This card is supposedly ‘legal’ to buy since it is shipped without a ‘Bootloader’. Since bootloader is the official copyright of Nintendo, one cannot ship the card with one pre-loaded. However, a simple search on the net will reveal many bootloader locations. However, the product does contain a compiler. Once user gets hold of the necessary Nintendo DS region dependent ROMs, he / she can use PC compatible tools to build a proper flash able bootloader file.

The beauty of this card lies in the usage of the unique DSi Mode which allows the use of enhanced RAM (16MB), dual cameras of the Nintendo. Some other benefits are as follows:

With all these feature, this European development has won the hearts of many Nintendo fans. However, the R4i & Gold cards can easily match many of the features.
